Imagine that you are driving and begin to approach a town called BlueJean Time. As you grow closer, you notice the welcome sign beckoning to you. It proclaims, "Come in if you want a place to set up shop, get work done, and maybe make some money!"

Interested? Come on in!

There are no barriers to entry. Here in this town, it's FREE to open up your own office to work in privacy (Create Place or Get a Room!). Each office space comes equipped with countless white boards to jot your ideas and meeting rooms to have conversations, to brainstorm, or to share your ideas (Topics). There are planning rooms where you can meet to track and to report on your progress (Checklists). You can put in your suggestions or cast your ballot to make a decision (Elections). Of course, there is plenty of room to store your documents, photos, and other stuff (Files).

Your office space is incredibly secure, and your work discussions and your files are kept private. In fact, no one even knows that your work space exists until they are invited to join it.

However, you may want to advertise the business you've created. We understand that, and so you can advertise for free with billboards (topics created in the BlueJean Time Community). These can be viewed by logged in users as well as guests to the site; they can even be discovered by web crawlers and search engines.

You can even advertise yourself! Your biography page does not have a limit to the information you can include. You can say as much or as little as you like. You can describe your career, your travels, your hobbies, or your skills, if desired. You can customize it with an interesting photograph; this will appear beside your posts on topics. You can even invite friends, family, and colleagues to your profile page by a link or an e-mailed invitation; they can start collaborating or chatting with you in privacy with just one mouse click!

Our Community area functions like any public gathering space. Any member can use it to ask questions or to get help. You can share your opinions, and you can gain others' insight. You can find people who share your hobbies or learn about passions and interests that are new to you. It also works to connect you with others' skills. You can use the Community space as a tool to discover people, groups, and businesses you may want to work with, either creatively or professionally.

Of course, the Community space also functions as a town hall! We care what members of our community think. As such, we encourage you to vote in our Elections! An election can be opened by any member, and you can gain almost instant feedback and valuable insight from our diverse user base.

Our town has a thriving economy, too! BlueJean Time enables you to do your work and get paid. Our Member Store sells exclusive products that have been requested by the members of our growing community.

Here's what you need to know about our store:

- If you request or recommend a product, it pays! Literally. Any community member can earn 10% of the revenue generated from a product he or she causes to be purchased from the store.
- Do you want to set up a private space and then charge others to access it? For example, say you're a personal trainer meeting who wants to share your expertise with an audience. In a situation where face-to-face meetings with individuals isn't ideal (due to distance, work schedules, family commitments), you can still help improve the lives of others--and earn money doing so! When you charge for access to a private space, you will make 60% of the purchase price.
- Our town earns 30% of all goods sold through the store. Think of this as a tax that lets us pay for our infrastructure. It pays for our bandwidth, keeps us from having to rely on paid advertisements, and ensures that joining BlueJean Time is free for members. To continue the metaphor, it keeps the lights on, the sidewalks clean, and the roads free of tolls.

Any questions?

Usually, he would have toweled off
