Your public profile page shows the following information:

your profile pic

your bio

activity or updates you've made to artifacts (topics, elections, checklists, files, calendar events...) in any of your places including the BlueJean Time community

Other community members who look at your profile can only see activity which occurred in places where both you and the community member are both members of including the community. So they can't see your events events occurring in places in which they are not a member. Not only that, they only see the fact that you made an update in to an artifact type (topic, file...) with specific artifact name in a specific place. To see the content of the update, the member needs to click into it.

A biz benefit to the public profile page for a manager or small biz owner is that they can checkin on the activities of their team members and provide feedback and see evidence of engagement. This differs from platforms which are mostly project focused. The BlueJean Time public profile provides visibility to activities which that person contributed to in all Places (contexts) in which the viewer is involved.

It is also very intentional that the content and pics contained in each of the items are not shown in the feed section. A member whether another member of the owner of the profile can quickly scan through the events and decide which is of interest faster than if the content of the events were showing. Additionally, if there was someone looking over the shoulder of the owner and there are extremely private photos or confidential information in some events, they won't inadvertantly and embarrassingly be displayed to an onlooker/peeping human.

From the employee's privacy perspective, a manager can only see activities in the places they share which includes the BlueJean Time community. However, activities in private places are protected from company scrutiny.
